Learn to craft a healthy and nutrient dense chocolate beet cake, and the medicine of ginger tea to go along with it!
In 2015 the Menstrual Cycle was decreed the 5th Vital Sign- and, this doesn’t mean it was not important before hand.
This not usually common knowledge. How does one know the health of their cycle? Charting and tracking is a do-it-yourself way, that does not have to require screens, apps, or fancy tools, other than a pencil and paper. This workshop is for beginning your journey into tracking your cycle, yourself!
There is something simple, calming, and even grounding about drawing, and writing. It is accessible, and fun. Drawing your own custom chart, can become a tool to use through your reproductive years, that will always take you back to yourself, as that is what it is meant for. To track your bodies inner working, at your own time, in your own way. By hand, screen free!

Important cake details
The ingredients for the tea and cake will be organic. To sweeten the cake Organic Cane Sugar will be used. This will also be an egg free cake. Depending upon dietary requirements of the participants, butter will be used, or not used. Organic local Stone Ground Spelt Flour from an organic farm in Orilia, Ontario will be our choice flour. If anyone participating in the workshop cannot tolerate Spelt, an alternative flour will be used. In essence, we are interested in meeting the groups dietary needs. Please inform us of any requirements upon registration!
